I don't have very many thoughts tonight. Seeing myself in that audience, and seeing many of my friends (and my own parents!) mock my applause and cheering was not a very pleasant experience. I did keep watching the game though.
I also feel stupid because I was confused about certain events during this episode. I swore Jacob ran through the lightning round when I saw that game in the studio...oh well, I'm sure I'm not the only person that's pleased he didn't.
Kamloops did seem to be all over the buzzers though, Nackawic hardly had a chance to buzz in in the first two rounds! I feel badly for them, they were a really nice team (I ran in to them in the CBC front lobby after the taping, and they were really nice)...
I have to say though, Kamloops was probably the strongest team out of the gate in this set of 4 shows...all 3 players played quite well, and Jacob did quite well on the spelling (I missed plagiarism too).
Next week we get to see the teams from Yukon, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. I can't wait to see these teams and how well they can do :-) And of course my obligatory shout-out to Catherine from Templeton, who we get to watch on Tuesday!
