I feel really bad for Eric from Kingsville...I could tell he knew the answers, getting the right one out was an entirely different matter.

Good performance today by Highland in the lightning round as well. Joel and Geoff were able to come around quite nicely to close out the game...also mad props to Comox, British Columbia for coming to the aid of their school and helping them fundraise for a substitute teacher - you guys out in Comox are pretty dang cool!
One last (fairly important) thing I'd like to say -- there was a scoring error in today's game. When Eric had points taken away in the Lightning Round for saying "gasohol" first instead of "ethanol", they took away 50 points. They should have taken away 100...the 50 points he won, and the 50 points he would have lost had they disallowed the answer instead of allowed it in the first place...so the final score *should* be 630 to 440 (not 630 to 490).
