Episode 27: January 24, 2003 - Highland 710 Inuksuk 550

So, Highland won - and shot many predictions of my fellow posters to high heaven. Don't fret, I would have taken Inuksuk as well had I not already known the outcome.

It was a fairly run-of-the-mill game, but a couple of things I would like to point out...

Again, I'm always impressed by a triple-digit wager in Dawg Eat Dawg - Inuksuk did very well in pulling back a defecit...nice work - it's too bad they couldn't pick it up more in the second half...

And Mio's moment...that was SWEET! I loved it! Easily the best one of the season so far - and Nobu having to tackle him...that was priceless.

One other thing though - during long lightning rounds - Mio and Nobu tend to slow the pace of the game down with needless comments - keep the pace up and let the kids go at it for 2 and a half minutes if there's time! That's one reason why I like the shorter rounds - the hosts just breeze through the questions.

And now onto round 3 with Swan Valley, Kamloops, Kennebecasis, and Highland. What do you guys think will happen? Stay tuned later this weekend when I post my thoughts on what these teams have to do to advance to Round 4 on Thursday.
