Merivale vs. Three Hills

Hmmmm. Whoever thought nerves would have so much to do with the outcome of the game?

It's simple, really. Sarah and Joelle seemed incredibly nervous; Merivale didn't. Ben had one of the most masterful opening two rounds of the season, completely preventing Three Hills from utilizing their previously highly effective Dawg strategy, forcing Three Hills on its back foot for the entire second half.

There was one positive for Three Hills though: Courtney played really, really well! I think she was the only one on the team that wasn't really nervous. Courtney, if you read this after you get home, you played really, really well.

I guess I should post some thoughts about my own interview. I was impressed by how well it turned out, and I think the subtitles accented what I was saying (I was actually quite afraid of the interview not turning out well, but I am *very* pleased with how the interview turned out :-) ) Kudos to the Smart Ask crew for a very enjoyable morning at the studio. :-)

One other thing I noticed during the airing (but surprisingly not in the taping?)

Did they deduct 50 points for Ben's incorrect answer in the Lightning Round? It certainly doesn't look like they did, I know in the studio that I was so shocked that Ben got one wrong that I didn't pay attention to the score.
