Episode 25: Swan Valley 780 Alexander Von Humboldt 730
There's just something about those 530-230 leads through Dirty Half Dozen...wow, another excellent charge in the 100-point Lightning Round, I have to say - Garrett is the man for his play in the final 1:30. Wow! However, I think Swan Valley should have been asked to answer the last question, seeing as they beat the buzzer.
Other than that, this game was ALL Alexander von Humboldt, especially the DHD - nice work, guys - and a very nice Scottish accent from Philipp :-) Too bad about the Lightning Round, but hey, stuff happens...
Other thoughts:
I wasn't impressed by Rachel's blitzing during the Mio's Moment Hickie Lit, it's as if she was trying to say "I know everything there is to know about Hickie Lit." - There's a reason why it's called *Hickie* Lit.
Swan Valley's T-shirt wasn't impressive either, they seem to think they're going to win though. Trivia gods, can you hear me?
Okay. Norway has *one* famous artist, composer, playwright, etc... the knowledge of this fact separates good teams from great ones.
I thought Cardinal Carter was overly rowdy in the last two matches and I think it's been taking away from the show. Mind you, the audience interview bit today WAS kinda funny...in a Ralph Wiggum-Lisa Simpson sort of way...
Is it just me, or does the logo on the T-shirts of Alexander von Humboldt look like Spongebob Squarepants?
