Episode 31: February 26, 2004 - St. Paul's 1,620 Three Hills 460

I still have problems envisioning Three Hills on the bottom of the set. And I think the Trivia Gods have the same problem here...They're miracle workers on top but get outclassed completely on the bottom.

And yes, Three Hills was truly outclassed by an incredibly strong St. Paul's squad that put up the highest score since some school by the name of Kennebecasis Valley put up 1,740 in their opening TV game on March 7, 2002. That's almost 2 years ago, folks.

Additionally, it was the 5th-highest single-game score in Smart Ask history. I'd like to see the Victoria record (2,120) fall at some point though.

Onto the game.

The wrong answers were coming at the wrong part of the game for Three Hills. 0 for 3 in the first 2:15 of the Lightning Round turned this game from a loss to a rout.

And all 3 of St. Paul's unforced errors were pretty dang close to being correct...

And I don't think anybody stands, or rings in at the Brain Pod like Lee from St. Paul's. Wow. I swear he's leaning at nearly a 45 degree angle, and you can TELL when he hits the buzzer. Wow.

Other than that, I think we have an early nominee for Mio's Worst Moment...that was one of his worst ever, I think...ugh! 1
