Episode 20: February 6, 2004 - F. H. Collins 840 South Kamloops 1,110
Anybody that feels the Territories can't be competitive on Smart Ask needs their head examined.
Again, a team from the Yukon holds their own against VERY formidable opposition, coming within 1 question with less than 30 seconds to play.
There are a couple of things I want to point out:
FH Collins didn't ring in until the 11th question of the game...for a team that wants to win, well, they need to ring in more. Kamloops out-buzzed FH Collins 32-15 tonight...that right there is one reason why South Kamloops won.
Jacob showed that he is still the king of No Pre-Emptive Buzzing -- why do I have a feeling that we'll be seeing this guy rack up a bucketful of money on Jeopardy! one day? Oh, yeah, he can spell too...
Smarterer was one of the best of the season, this is the first time we saw 8 questions - and both players were racking up the points -- nice work!
Finally, as great as it is that Kamloops is fast on the buzzer...they really need to curtail the numerous negs they've been taking. They were very, very lucky that they were able to take the Panettone Bowl tonight.
