Well, even though we won't be seeing any more of Winston Churchill, they can go back to Lethbridge knowing they've taken quite a notable milestone with them...
Congratulations to Meagan, who by knowing that pumice is the only floatable rock, was awarded the 300,000th point in Smart Ask history.
Some other interesting things I noticed:
Anyone who watched Animaniacs back in the day would know (from the theme song) that Bill Clinton is a saxophone player...therefore, I nominate that final Dirty Half Dozen question as tonight's Turning Point...a lead for Churchill going into the Lightning Round would have helped them immensely.
Also, for Notre Dame, Steve scored 260 of his team's first 310; whereas Karen scored 500 of Notre Dame's last 550...Oh well, it seems to work for them...and frankly, I didn't find them to be as dominant as they were in the final 1:20 against Governor Simcoe...
Finally, Winston Churchill was shut out over the final 1:44 (going 1 for 2) -- nobody's going to win a game this season going 1 for 2 over the final 100 seconds of a match...it looks like the pressure got to them, considering Krista nearly blanked on "patella"...
