Episode 1: January 6, 2004 - Lethbrige 1250 JH Bruns 990

For two teams that went into the tournament ranked relatively low in the 3SF, I was very impressed by how this game went. It was a little on the slow side so start out with, but the pace and the score picked up once we got into the Lightning Round. Tonight, the Lightning Round really impressed me, especially how both teams managed to go through almost 4 minutes under LR rules, without negging once!

And if you think Lethbridge is windy, try on top of the Niagara Escarpment in St. Catherines...yeesh! And cold, too!

Kudos to the Jeff-Jeff tandem from Lethbridge for carrying this Alberta squad :-) And an excellent job from Brian keeping Bruns in the game.

Congrats to both teams for playing so well!
